Yet, something was missing—there was no joy, no music, only a mechanical existence. The cycle of birth and death was relentless, making creation an endless task. Seeking a solution, Brahma turned to Vishnu, who revealed that the universe needed feminine energy to unite with the masculine and sustain itself. But only Shiva knew this secret, so Brahma traveled to Mount Kailash, where Shiva, emerging from deep meditation, revealed his half-male, half-female form—Ardhanarishvara.
